Juminkeko

Juminkeko, the organizer of Sommelo, is the Information Center for the Kalevala and Karelian Culture. The center's objectives are the preservation of Kalevala traditions and culture, and cultural exchange between Finland and the Republic of Karelia, Russia. These goals are supported by the numerous exhibitions and events which the center organizes in Finland and Karelia. Visiting authors, exhibitions, as well as musical and folklore tours - examples of Juminkeko at its best.
