The main location of the festival on the Finnish side is in Kuhmo, where there will be both concerts in the excellent halls of the Kuhmo Arts Centre and other events in smaller, more intimate premises. Some of the concerts will take place in Juminkeko, the information centre for the Kalevala and Karelian culture, and the Tuupala Museum. The Kuhmo church will be introduced as a new concert venue for the festival.

You can browse the programme by clicking the links on the left. It offers fascinating events from morning till night, with usually five to six concerts on each day of the festival. Apart from the actual concerts, the programme includes interesting seminars on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, open to the general public, performances in the market square and evening jams. There will be something to listen to, watch and witness all day long. Children will also have their share in the concert programme.
