Supporting enterprises

The project gives support for the founding of two new enterprises, and for one enterprise founded during the preparatory project in 2010.

New enterprises

Handicraft workshop in Uhtua

A handicraft workshop for kantele- and other instrument building, and other small handicraft - will be placed in Uhtua/Kalevala District. By projects support, the facilities of a handicraft workshop will be purchased.

The location of the workshop shall be in the house on Uhut society. The water and sanitation will be built up, and new machines and technology will be purchased. The project will also give help in education and marketing to the entrepreneur.

Accommodation and nutrition enterprise

A small accommodation and nutrition enterprise in Vuokkiniemi. The project will help with the water- and sanitation solutions, registration and general business plan making. Small equipment (for example new technology) and furniture will be purchased.

Enterprise founded during the preparatory project

Handicraft workshop in Vuokkiniemi

Enterprise is a handicraft workshop of kantele and instrument building in Vuokkiniemi. The workshop will have also other products, which will be marketing to Finland, enterprises and tousrist in the area. Project helps the workshop in concrete equipment and general business planning.
